I grew up in Oregon, met my now-husband in college, and later moved to his hometown of Seattle. I was a teacher before having kids, then stayed home for a few years, and finally worked up the courage to chase my lifelong dream of being an interior designer.
After designing our own home, I quickly began working with clients and taking classes through the New York Institute of Art & Design. I am utterly obsessed with what I do and feel so blessed to be able to do it. My home is my happy place, so I strive to help create that same feeling for my clients.
My signature design style is a mix of contemporary, transitional, and classic. I like to keep things bright and clean, with just enough texture to keep each space feeling warm and inviting.
Ultimately, I want you to experience a fresh, sophisticated end result that feels like you and your family and makes you fall in love with your home again.

Hi! I'm Kat Grayson. I grew up in Oregon but landed in Seattle after graduating from the University of Washington. I worked in the marketing and advertising world for years after college, then eventually made my way into the event planning industry, and started my own design and event planning company. After having kids - 3 boys (performance fabric for me, please!), I continued to design for events, but also began working with builders and architects on the design side of custom home builds. I absolutely fell in love with designing and re-imagining client’s homes. In 2020 I got the chance to design and build my own home from scratch, and I haven’t looked back since. I’m a homebody who loves to host, and I strive to create each client’s space to be a place they can’t wait to come home to.
My personal style is a blend of transitional and classic, and I can’t handle anything that’s overly fussy or uninviting. I’m a lover of all things neutral, textural, and cozy, yet also rarely say no to a good pop of drama and moodiness – bring on the Tricorn Black paint!
